Just wondering which is better have heard pros and cons of both. I currently have a K&N cone hot air system.
Steve, I wonder the same thing. I've got a cold air opening in left chin spoiler. Friends say remove it and go hot air. They say the KB cannister and the 4" hose are more restrictive that the hot air without the cannister. Other friends say the best setup is going through the left bright headlight with the 4" into the KB.
Has anyone ever tested the theories? Does anyone have a strong opinion?
I just installed the Big Mouth on my 87 GN and love it. I had a homemade cold air using a 8inch K&N with a 3inch inlet. The Big Mouth runs better and sounds great.
How so does it run better? And what happened with your WOT O2s?
