We built our first turbo project car this year - a 1998 Grand Prix GTP with a Series II 3800 turbo. It's been to the track three times so far:

1) 15.0 psi - ran 11.63 @ 120 MPH (1.85 60')
2) 16.5 psi - ran 11.17 @ 125 MPH (1.76 60')
3) 18.0 psi - ran 10.99 @ 128 MPH (1.72 60')

On the last time out, we solved the traction problems, and we've got a new converter in the works right now that should help us get into boost much sooner, get the short times down where they belong (maybe 1.59 or so?), and get the E.T. down to something more acceptable.

Anyway, you can see that we've added 1.5 psi of boost at each successive track outing. I'm curious as to how far the T64E will go with 3.8 liters before it starts to reach the point of diminishing returns. I know that on paper this turbo will make up to 28 psi, but I'm wondering how far we can push things and still see nice gains.

Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Scott
