Steve Sullivan (V6beast) | Thursday, October 16, 2003 - 07:48 am I haven't haven't controlled boost with chip in a long time, but I think the way it works is the Chip commands a certain amount of Wastegate duty cycle and that produces the amount of boost. By shortening the rod with adjustable kit,and using the same WG duty cycle you see higher boost because the WG isn't opening as much as it did with the longer rod. The chip doesn't actually read boost and make adjustments. You usually get about 1 PSI increase for each complete turn of the rod (Shorter is more boost) HTH Sully |
