Hello!

I need information about the fuel system for 87 and possibly other year GN's. I am looking for info about how the fuel system is set up from the tank to the rails. I am trying to build a car for a 3.8 motor and i want everything stock.

Thanks

Basically its similar to all modern FI setups. The pump in the tank feeds the rail on one side, the regulator controls the return flow back to the tank on the other side. The supply line has a fuel filter in it.

Do the GN have a clamp on hose sending unit? I ordered a replacement from GM and that is what i got. I'm wondering if i got the TBI version.

Thanks

All connections on the pump hanger have hose connections. In order to be able to remove the tank from the car, all connections to the hanger are lengths of hose that join the hard lines that go through the car.
