Hi there- I'm new to the board and have looked around to find as much info as I could but i still had a question. I'm putting a turbo on my Probe GT which has a 2.5 liter V6. I plan to use a grand national turbo but my question is what year should I use? I know there are some differences between the '84-'85 and '86-'87 but i don't know which one flows better. What are the sizes, trims, and A/R of both of those and which ones would you suggest I use? Thanks for your time.
A GN turbo is probably not the way to go. That turbo works perfect for us because the engine is set up to use it. Most GN owners end up upgrading to a larger turbo because the ol' T-3 doesn't cut it anymore. The best question for you to ask is what turbo is best for the set up that I will be using. I would check the probe web sites for info on turbo kits, because as you may have guessed, there are'nt many probe owners here. Lot's of luck!!
One more thing.... are you asking about the Buick Turbo's because you have access to one? You can use them, but there are more efficient, quicker spooling turbo's avaliable.
