I bought a Th 3 inch downpipe with Test pipe and dump.My stock downpipe has a test pipe on it.Does anyone know if I can pull the downpipe and test pipe up through the engine compartment? Also whee I bought the pipe I was told to put ultra copper around the tuboe housing where the downpipe bolts to it.Is this correct? Then I was told to start the bolts and while they were still loose to pull hard forward on the pipe while I tighten the bolts so the puck lines up with the wastegate hole. Then I was told to not clamp the test pipe/dump to the downpipe tp allow movement so the passenger side header would not crack.Does all of this sound correct? Also how much does the fuel pressure usually need to be turned up with the addition of this pipe?I am at 43 pounds static now and I have been runninf 21 pounds of boost with the alcohol turned on.Bruce

You will likely not be able to pull the stock downpipe up and out with the driver's side header and turbo in place. Though I am not 100% sure. I do know you can't get the stock downpipe out with the cat on it (when they are siezed together) except for out the bottom of the car while on a lift.

I've never heard of not securing the DP/test pipe connection or passenger side header cracks resulting from doing it.

Your FP may or may not require adjustment. Like most tuning, it depends on your car and your combo. I'd be more concerned about adjusting your boost after adding the pipe.
