Brian Lee (Brianwagonlee) | Thursday, October 25, 2001 - 10:33 am GM does have a gasket for this. It is not listed for the Turbo Regals. It is the graphite/composite gasket. I guess it has some other application, but I do not know what that app. is. If the two surfaces are cleaned up real well then you shouldn't need one, as long as they are completely flat. Alot of people like to use the copper gaskets that are available from lots of vendors. They are hard, of course, they are copper, but they hold up real well, last longer, and are reusable. The other gasket if you can find it, is much more forgiving of less than perfect surfaces, but will eventually blow out, and don't last as long. If I ever find the application, I'll let the list know. Until then, the copper is your best choice. Brian |
