This is the first available selection under the "ECM and Sensors" section of the Technical Info pulldown under Resources. Very easy to find. Give looking around the site a try!

I was thinking that i would convert to 86/87 ECM sometime soon. I read the process to convert to it. So you have to completely change the harness under the hood and under the dash to an 86/87 for it to work correctly? That would seem like more than 30 minutes of time the way the conversion process is told. It sounds like you have to completely strip the car in order to do the process. Maybe im getting this all wrong. Please someone shed some more light on this subject for me. Thanks a bunch.

All you need to do is add the MAT sensor and swap the MAF. When you go the the boneyard, clip the plug that goes into the MAT sensor, and a plug from an ECM so you can salvage the pins. You'll need add one to your plug for the MAT (or a few if you want to add the electric fan relays). Run your own wire(s) and solder and heatshrink your connections.

So the ECM for the 86/87 will directly fit 84/85 and the wires and pinouts are the same? I just need to have the MAT sensor and the MAF sensor for the 86/87 with of course the pin connectors for them. So no need to replace all the harness to 86/87? When i do this i just want everything to work correctly and i guess ill need to see the pinout schematic for the 86/87 so i know where to put the MAT sensor pin so it works. If i add the fan i need the relays for it also? Is there a schematic to show the wiring of the fan setup to the ECM and relays?

Thanks for the help

Ron

That's all I did, swap the ECM and MAF and add the MAT.
