Has anyone tried using headerwrap around their up/down pipes, or a turbo blanket to keep underhood temps down? If so, any side effects?
Make sure the pipes are stainless or the wrap will make rust and destroy the pipes quickly. Other wise they work fairly well. I have used them on small blocks before. If you have the cash you would be better off to buy ceramic coated pipes or have them ceramic coated.
