Ken Mosher (Kenmosher) | Thursday, May 23, 2002 - 08:33 am Sounds like: - Car is stuck in ALDL mode (forces idle to be 1000). Check with a scan tool. - IAC is totally whacked. Reset according to procedures on the web site - TPS is whacked. Reset according to procedures on the web site (good to do in conjunction with IAC) - Large vacuum leak upstream of the Throttle Body (bleeding air around the IAC). Check all vacuum lines/connections. A good way is to spray carb cleaner (CAREFULLY!) around all of them and see if idle changes.... |
