I've read the section on converting the coil pack and ignition control module over to the cheaper, mroe available 86-87 unit. I doubt my own ability to move all those electrical pins around with messing anything up further. I have read a post about a conversion harness...
Who sells a conversion kit for this job? Exactly what parts am i going to need? I assume i need the coil pack, the ICM, and the new harness, but is there anything else? Thanks!

Caspers Electronics offers everything you will need (ignition module, coil pack, wiring adapter and mount plate) everything worked fine, although i went to autozone to get the coil pack and module, saved like $50

That's a pretty radically different price structure. i noticed while i was looking on the autozone website that they sell a CB5 adpater harness for the coil pack, any idea what that's all about? It said i may need it...

Yeah I heard of that when I was getting mine but never got it, car doesnt seem to have any problems from not having it.
