I recently bought an 84 Gn with a rebuilt motor and trans. I live in MD and during the state inspection the mech told me that the exhaust was leaking so i replaced the header gaskets and took it back still leaks he says. he took a piece of tube and put one end on the turbo downpipes and said listen hear the leak. Anyway i took it somewhere else to be inspected and it passed. The pipes are steel braided. Good or bad? the supposed air leak is the joint where the pipes from the turbo connect. GASKET? Help.
