Hello all, I found a T-Type in the paper this week "84 Buick Regal T-Type. Turbo V6 hard to find New Trans, good shape, needs TLC. Call for info $1100.00"
What do you think? What sort of problems should I look for on a car like this?
check for ease of start, how the car is idleing, if it will restart easily after it's been running. See if the car is blowing lots of black smoke or white smoke. Trannies are rebuildable with the right tranny shop. There are some really great tranny builders out there.
I say go for it I just bought the same car for 900 and I love the thing.
