I have just bought an 84 T-type and I was wondering if one of you Buick gods could help me out here. Ok the car is bone stock and I want to get it running in the mid to low 13's I ask nothing more. It would be great if one of you guys could tell me which are the best bolt ons and the best tune ups to do to get my baby moving.

I would suggest porting and polishing the stock intake, it is very restrictive and this will open the car up to breathe. You would also want to upgrade you stock fuel pump, once you start going faster you will run into issues. A hot wire kit. A computer, but only tlink works on the 84/85 ecm so I would suggest upgrading to an 86/87 for more computer information and a much better chip assortment. You would then maybe want to upgrade stock injectors too. run a hotter chip for your upgrades. I know the TA-49 will bolt on to the hot airs and is a nice application. I know of someone you went through freshened up his motor, injectors, turbo and chip with a ported and polished intake and ran 13.30's. Nothing else. Tranny needs to be solid and a converter doesn't hurt. If you freshen up the motor new springs help a lot as well. Lots and lots you can do. Depends how serious you want to get Hot airs are getting into the 10's with alcohol injections. So, don't let anyone discourage you. I have already ran 12.80's with more to come. for the intake contact Http://www.iwinengineering.com
