Wanted to thank Ken Mosher with putting up with all my questions through out the summer. We finally was able to race this last month and I ran a personal best of a 12.31 on a hot air motor. It's a lot of fun when it finally comes together. Thanks to everyone else too,

Jamie

I would also like to Thank Lee Thompson here as well, he was very helpful and informative on his set up and what he did to get where he's at. There's a lot of great people in the Buick Community. What was kinda cool is I was helping the guy with the Yanko Malibu tune while in staging lanes this past weekend, he actually got a personal best of 12.20 and has a lot more to go, once he hooks that is.

This was even personal best 60 foot of a 1.589 so I had a good weekend. And the car actually went back on the trailer running and ready to rock. (insert big smiley face here)

Congratulations Jamie!
I'm interested in your formula for getting into
the 12's. I have an '84, don't have plans to
formally race but am interested in going as fast
as possible in street trim. If you have the time,
please send a note to ngianop@qwest.com with
a list of your mods. Thanks and again, congrats
on your achievement!

Better yet ... write it up as a "Recipe" or buildup and we'll get it out on the Performance Recipes section of the site!

I'll do that. It will be a couple of days and then I will email it to you. That way you can check it over and let me know if anything needs to be deleted. I would love to help anyone interested in making a hot air go faster. Fact is we have a small group here in Michigan that help one another as much as possible with information and trading ideas. Thanks for asking. I just want to write it all out and check a couple things for verfication.

I'm working on it. I promise next week for sure I'll have it to Ken, have to go through my facts first and do a couple verfications. I would like to report the facts and just the facts. (LOL)Thanks for asking..
