have a few questions on my 84....here goes i bought the car with 85000 miles on it and i am suspecting that the engine needs rebuilt. the problem i am running into is that the car is running rough. when boost reaches about 4 to 5 pounds it makes a wierd hummin type sound and the car holds its speed and wont accelerate. the only mods done to the car where by the previouse owner and they are kenne bell headers and a fpr. i cant even get the car to wot and have absolutly no idea what is causing any of this as like i said i am new to turbo regals. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
humming noise...pull your throttle body and check shaft play on turbo. sounds like it is on its way out.
