Thursday, January 30, 2003 - 12:26 pm I have the engine out of my 84 Gn. The old wiring harness was in pretty bad shape, and i procured another uses one. All the connectors appear to be the same except for right near the connector that goes back into the driver's dash side of the car. The new harness has a flat 3 pin and a flat 4 pin connector there (Black and green.) The old harness has a square two pin connector there (white) I checked the parts book and the 84 and 85 harnesses have the same part number. The only item that the parts book indicates is different is the coolant sensor part #. Any one have any idea of what the difference could be?

Thursday, January 30, 2003 - 12:46 pm Your replacement harness is set up for the powermaster which was added in late 1985. You can leave them hanging or cut them off and tape into the harness. Otherwise it should work OK. -John Spina http://www.casperselectronics.com
