Hi Im new to this site, just joined today. Im going to look at an 84 Regal ttype this weekend. There asking $2500 obo. Was recently repainted. Engine has 5,000 miles on rebuild. Rear end was replaced with a locker style rear by previous owner. Not sure why. Hoping someone could give me an idea what these cars are worth. Will give more specifics after I look at it.

Looked at the Regal last night, heres what I found. The body is repainted silver with red flames and Regal Turbo T-type graphics on the rear quarters. Kind of guady looking. Has body filler in lower rear of the quarter panels. Rust hole in the drivers side floor board where feet would be. Has t-tops. Interior is maroon cloth with bucket seats and console. Has the digital tach which reads 4,000 rpm at idle and has the digital boost gauge. Them guages are awfully small and hard to read. Has a/c. Is in good shape ,just needs good cleaning. Engine started and ran good ,sounded really good, no noises or rattles. Has Flowmaster single exhuast cat back system. Didnt get to drive car cause its in between 2 other cars winter storage. owner said trans works good. Has the hydro boost brakes like are on diesals. Suppose to work excellent. Non original rims, some kind of aluminum modular rim. What rear end came in these? This one oesnt look like a 7 and half. Did they use 8 and half in the turbo cars. Its suppose to be a locker style and dont know what gear ratio. Going to check out tomorrow again in the day light and tak a jack with to check out under side of car better and go to dealership where engine was rebuilt to find out what was done to it. Was thinking of offering around $1800 for car. Wants $2500 obo. Any opinions would be aprecciated, thanks.

As far as rears go, it should have the 8.5" (which came on the TRs).

The rust is concerning, since it could really be a big problem as you dig deeper. $1800 would be a good deal, if only for a driver ... and eventually parts.
