Im new to Turbo Buicks. But I am learning fast with this board. I just bought a real straight `85 T Type for $300.00. They did not know what they had and the engine would not start because they did not now the alarm had disabled the ignition. It was a snao once I found the switch. I originaly bought it to drop my 383 Small Block in. But I'm now hooked on the Buick turbo motor after one test drive!
One of the problems it has is real bad idle and no power and smells like its real rich through the exhaust. I ran the codes and it said there was a problem with the TPS and EGR. It also had a badly cracked uppipe. I ordered a new uppipe and a TPS sensor from Poston. While I was at it I ordered a TPS enhancer. I mainly ordered it for the ease of adjustment in the future but I was curious if there was any drivability benefits as claimed in the advertisments? And if anyone had experiance with these?
Sorry for being so wordy and thanks for the time.

Denne, I ran one for @3mo on my 84GN and found out there is no equal for a properly adjusted TPS. yes, you may notice a slight increase in throttle responce but nothing that cant be accomplished with modifying the tps. Check posts on the modification of tps in archives. Save your $100 and invest in upgrading fuel system ie. injectors , regulator, and pump. Good luck.
