Thursday, March 20, 2003 - 09:43 pm my 84 Ttype has not ran in 3years i put a timing chain in it and wouldnt get fire so i put it away 4 a while now i have time and a lil cash to get started so i new computer and coil and ing mod now i have fire but wont start but it gets so close then backfires i am wondering about the the cam driver thing and does it need to be timed and how right now i have the cam sensor off and the window (open spot) is at #1 TDC is this right or does it matter plz reply

Friday, March 21, 2003 - 01:14 pm Check the Engine and Mechanicals section of the web site for instructions on how to set the cam sensor. It's important to set it correctly.

Saturday, March 22, 2003 - 10:40 am ok ken i cant find that on site and now i looked at my spark on #1 and it just barly has 1 and it backfires i can see spark a lil better but still is very very faint any ideas ps i am new to web site and just want to say this is great thing

Saturday, March 22, 2003 - 03:46 pm ok messin with car all day no spark i put a test light in the crank sensor wires and when i touch it to the pulse wire with ing. on the plug wires firelike crazy and when i touch the ground i get a light from test light like ground has power i am so lost this is mind boggling hehe but i am still laughin so far
