hello everyone. i have to take off my intake manifold and was wondering what gasket set i should use? valley or not. i havent pulled it yet so i dont know what is in there. im not sure what to use. please help thanks in advance.

Use the valley type. Keeps oil off the bottom of the manifold and doesn't change geometry.

Use blue tack sealer around the ports and a VERY thin coat of copper RTV around the water passages.

Be sure to torque it down in the recommended sequence (I like to do it in 2-3 steps).

thanks Ken for the info. i know about cars can fix almost anything. but dont know everything. the only thing that i was confused with on the intake gasket was the part store listed two a vally pan gasket or high preformance intake gasket. so i figured i would ask the people who really know and thanks again for the awnsers
