GNTTYPE Discussion Group: Hot Air Haven (1984-85): MAF problem

Stephane Dussault (Tucker)	Sunday, June 15, 2003 - 05:27 pm I Have a problem with my MAF my engine runs better without than with I Heard I could dammage the engine if I run the car without the MAF did anybody ever tried that ??? P.S. I have an 86-87 chips(eprom) should I Upgrade to the *? MAF ???
Jamie Wolcott (Turbo6x2)	Monday, June 16, 2003 - 11:53 am I would try an 86/87 maf and see how it runs. Some claim to run the 84/85 with the 86/87 ecm but we did the complete upgrade and my car runs great.
