Im running an 85 gn motor in my 63 olds and have a problem with the boost.Im running a turbo 350 trans.
Here are the things that Ive checked.
Checked to make sure I had the restrictor tee in right.
If I pull the line off the accuator from the compressor side the turbo and pulled the line off at the solenoid turbo will go to 14lbs.
I pulled the waste gate solenoid off and put 12v to it and will open and passes air.
I checked for power on the solenoid and have 12v on both sides with key on no run, If I pull the connector off the solenoid I have 12v just on one side.
I have to change my speedo gear because im about 20mph slow
Also does it matter if I just leave the line disconnected?
Is there a way to check if the ecm is grrounding the wire?
Does anyone have a diagram or know which wire it would be at the ecm? I could try and run a new wire between the ecm and solenoid.
