I got a ATR coming and it is just one piece.......a really B!tch to change, but since I am in the middle of a intake swap I didnt mind......how are you planing on taking the stock down pipe out.........I had to move the AC compressor out of the way and the brackets for it and then the passenger side header had to come out then the downpipe will slide right out as one piece........but you could cut it in half possibly and pull it out in two pieces. A two piece design would be awesome and make changing plugs easier two. Nick

well as far aS getting the pipe out....it is, motor on stand for second rebuild, spent @16hrs on intake and turbo inlet bell porting, suggest the same to you nick if you have it out...I did a light porting on first rebuild and the difference was noticable. BTW thanks for the input guys, ebay auction and I didnt win on hot air exhaust headers. going to go with atr style, thanks

I got the V2 intake, so my intake is covered and my turbo inlet bell is a .63 which is connected to my TA49 turbo. I am not sure if I can port that anymore or not........have you polished up your exhaust elbow at all? I wish I could afford some GN1 heads....ya right..lol... But, right now I am in the middle of my V2 intake project....and I am taking my time and hoping my newbie ass does it all right.....lol......take a look at some of my pics:

I am sorry to hear about your second rebuild, that sucks man...but I am sure I will be there to someday, if I keep building on my mods! Thanks Nick

If anyone is interested the ATR downpipe(i just got it today)........it looks awesome.....really nice work......and it is longer then the original.....so it has a race pipe built into it.....but it can be trimed and use the supplied flange to hook up to your cat if you want......nice piece.....just not two pieces.....oh well.......I got some new spark plugs too.....dont want to take that pipe off again this year...later nick
