Hey listers,

I found an '84 GN here locally, The guy is asking a firm 3000 for the car. KBB.com books the car at about 9500 for this area, but i've been told that the hot air cars dont bring that much? need some advise. Here are the problems.

Hood needs stripped/painted
rear bumper filler is broken
driver's side B-pillar cracked
usual rust under the door/worse on driver's side
exhaust looks like a hack job,
Downpipe, well turbo plumbing in general needs help
5 cylinders at 150 psi one at 80 psi durring compression test.
passenger side header cracked.

up side?
interior is exceptional with leather seats
all digital dash (good or bad, dont know)

I've been tooling with the chassis (own an 84 Cutlass) for a while but am not sure if this car is worth the effort or if i should keep looking.
Also, needing motor/turbo work, would i be better off looking around for an intercooled setup? Thanks for the help guys.

A friend of mine was offered $2000 for the rear lear siegler seat out of his 84 GN..

blown headgasket probably reason for the low cylinder..

downpipe and turbo plumbing would be replaced anyway.. up pipe $90, downpipe $130. pass header cracks always.. $35 to have them replaced.

doors can be replaced from a pick u part for relatively cheap.. try to get him down on price..
