few simple questions i have a 85 t type and dont know a few things first of all
is the car supposed to have a mapp sensor, dealer says yes if im supposed to have it what happens if i dont have it connected
second what kind of boost should i be getting i am getting 10-12 now
i would like to run low 13's maybe high 12's any suggestion's
If you have a regular dash (vs. digital) you'll have a MAP sensor to drive the boost display. If you have a digital dash, there will be a switch to drive the two boost lights. Whichever it is, if its not hooked up, you'll just not see these displays.
Of course an open hose in the intake stream will leak vacuum and boost if its open if nothing is connected to it.
