I am installing a 1985 EFI/Turbo 3.8L into my
1980 Triumph TR7. I have always been a fan of the Buick Turbo and thought why not. I've been using your web site for a lot of information and parts,
so I joined do you think I belong? Also I am planning on using Kenne Bell for rebuild/upgrade
part source, any feed back on him?
Thanks

Welcome to the group, Terry. If its got Turbo Regal power, we're interested.

Are you using one of the swap kits from the source in Texas? I seem to remember a company down there offering Buick-V6-in-a-TR7 swap stuff as well as Chevy-in-a-Jaguar swap items.

You might want to have a look at our vendors list for other parts sources. Not all vendors have a lot to support the 84/85 setups. I know S&S has some unique parts for those builds.

Thank you Scott. No I'm not using one of the kits, although John's Cars out of Texas has an
excellent swap kit. I'm doing this on my own. I have installed a 1980 non-turbo V6 already and was
lucky enough to find someone selling the turbo/efi
system from an 1985 Regal in Turbo TRader. I was very lucky. I'm rebuilding the 80' to turbo specs and it's going to be fun
