hey guys whats up?
welp i have a question......
i have a totally stock 85 GN
and i am wanting to replace my stock cam with a performance cam

i was wondering if anyone had some input on what cam would work best for a stock 85.
if you had some advice, could you please give me some specs on the cam

If the cam needs to be replaced, then the same grinds that work for the 86/87 motors work fine. Be sure to do lifters and valve springs at the same time. If the car is pretty much stock, then a mild upgrade would be a 200/200 or a 206/206.

If the cam doesn't NEED replacement, then there are much more effective upgrades than a cam. Cams in the TRs don't make much difference until other upgrades (turbo, exhaust, heads, etc.). So there are much easier bolt on ways to make HP.
