Mike Lee (Nvmyttype) | Monday, May 06, 2002 - 11:43 pm im new to the board and alittle new to the buicks, but for a msd 6al box and a air gap intake i got a 1982 buick regal turbo t tops. it has column shifting, digital temperature gauges, and is in decent shape but the paint shows age. he ripped the motor out and the engine bay was gonna make it to a strip car but changed his mind. i want to put a 86 gn sfi intercooled motor in there but i know i would have to upgrade the fuel lines and intank pump for the higher pressure, is it worth doing? another question. according to the vin decoder its a t type in 83 but not much info for the 82, are they the same? |

If you want a 86/87 SFI Turbo V6, you would be better off buying a 86/87 Turbo Regal. There is much more than just the motor that you would want to change. The wiring, accessories, transmission, and rear axle as well. Is there a motor in the car now? Do you have the original '82 Turbo V6? |
