ok i recently bought a 85 t type regal with a bad engine and im looking to sell the engine and turbo. from what i was told the bottom end of the engine has a knock but i wasnt able to hear it and now the engine is out of the car. im thinking of putting a v-8 into the car because im not sure what it would cost to fix the 3.8. im wondering what the engine and turbo is worth if anything and would there be anyone interested in buying it?

I wouldn't go the V-8 Route. It will probably cost you more, if you go with a new motor. Get your 3.8 rebuilt. With the V-8 you'll have to find a complete motor, along with all of the accessory brackets, and you'll also have to replace the springs.
