Keith Grant (All4gss) | Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 01:03 am Hello all, I was playing with the idea of building a turbo 425 BB olds for my g-body cutlass. But i'm not quite sure how to approach it... what special things need to be concidered etc. The 425 olds did have a forged crank which should provide ample strength below. But what else needs to be in place or helps a carb/turbo setup perform. I figured this would be the best place to ask people with experience from the early GNs. So. what type of cam profile does a turbo "like" what compression is recommended... special carb? cylinder head prep? anything else i should look at before i attempt this project? thanks keith grant |
