I just came home from the track and I have a 87 Gn with a hooker catback exhaust system a k&n cone, a holly fuel pump (bigger than stock), and wider tires out back new 255's. The best i could get is 14.4 in the 1/4 mile is that right or is something wrong or is that about normal? I have read that these cars should do about 13.9 stock so i was jus wondering any help would be greatful! thanks!

You're leaving a lot of info out to answer your question. First, you've provided no MPH or 60' info. Also, what boost were you running? Was there any knock indicated? Do you have the catalytic installed?
When new and 100% stock in average air at sea level on stock tires they turned 14.7-13.9 depending on driver, weight due to options, and luck of the launch. I found that a chip and a bit more octane easily put my otherwise stock '87 T down to 13.6's. I'm sure it was more luck than anything else.

sorry, my best mph was 94.21 and 60' was 2.270, R/t was .835, the 1/8 was 9.286. The boost was at stock which is 15 and i tested it on the scanner the next day and the scanner said there was knock. any help thanks
yeah i here ya jeff, maybe its us and our turbo 1st time isms but i'm getting the same results. i have a 3500 stall coverter a chip, intake , and 36# injectors with stock everything else boost fpr etc on 94 octane. im pulling it up to about 5psi on regular radials without loosing too much traction and im only pulling 14.83's with a .84 rt i gotta go find my slip for the rest of the info but im having problem seeig whats wrong as its all tuned up cleaned up and running great as far as i can tell (till i get the scan tool in a few weeks)
