It depends on how complete you want to make the swap. The easiest way would be to buy a stand alone harness from www.CaspersElectronics.com. You will also have to run new fuel lines(feed and return). The vent line should be fine. You wil also need a baffled gas tank with provisions for an internal fuel pump, or hook up an external. You will need to change the motor mount supports on the frame. There will be few other things. Of course this info applies if you plan on putting in a turbo, fuel injected 3.8. If it is just a carbed 3.8, then that is a different story.

yes it would be injected turbo, the malibu has a v6 in it now a 79 200ci,i think the 3.8 bolts ineasy, same crossmembers even,im just trying to figure out how to get it to run, dfi harness if it exists.
i have a gn motor and i think it would be a cool car with the turbo 3.8.
i could put a 350 in it with a carb,but i have a turbo motor already

Well, I would check with Casper's, and whoever you bought/plan to buy the DFI from.
