Looking for a little advice, I have a 79 Le Mans with a 231. It is bored .40 over, Double roller chain, high volume pump, and a cam (.280 \ .295 and 204\214) other than that the motor is stock spec.’s. I have a bad head gasket so I am going to need to pull the top end apart and would like to go back with a 4 barrel. I am planing to use a Holly\ Weiand intake (it is the only one I can find with a EGR port) so what carb. Holly said the 390 cfm Edelbrock said a 500 cfm and I already have a 600 cfm Carter AFB. So what do you all think How much is to much ? Oh running a stock rebuild turbo 350 and a 2.71 rear gear. I plan to add headers with duels sometime. Now I am not trying to build a hot rod just make it a little more fun to drive
