Help!! My Turbo Regal won't start for some reason. I was driving home and hit the gas to get through a yellow light. When I did this it accelerated and then died and now it won't start back up. My gas guage was reading pretty low at the time. I put 6 gallons of gas in the tank and it still won't start. I also changed the coil pack and changed my chip and that didn't help. Also, my fuel pressure guage reads that there is 45 psi, and the fuel pump sounds like it's working fine. I'm not sure what to try next. I don't think that the fuel sock collapsed because I have fuel pressure. If anybody knows anything that may help please let me know. I'm in dire need of any advise. Thanks!!!!

Something like this happened to me a few years ago. Was getting on the gas and it just died and wouldn't restart. Turned out that my crank sensor kicked the bucket. May want to check that out.

Bingo on that one. I think something flew up and smacked mine once 'cuz it would crank over a few times then all of a sudden POP! I always check it out whenever I have a no start problem, just to make sure it's not broken....again.:)

I love it when I finally get something right!! Course it's never with my car, always with someone else's....but what can ya do?lol I'm glad we helped you fix your car, now you know information that will someday help someone else, please share your knowledge. That may sound dumb but this website and all the member's knowledge has helped me a great deal and I am forever in everyone's debt, hehe too bad I'm always broke or I'd pay you all back.:) And not to mention, when my car had this problem it was down for three or four days, had to be towed, and in the process the front end was damaged, I had a 60 minute walk(that's no kiddin, not trying to sound like a "6 mile walk uphill both ways" thing) to get to the car before it was towed to try and fix it AND it took me two days to get it running again when I finally had it in a garage to work on it, and that doesn't include the begging I had to do to get rides everywhere to get parts and back to the car. If I'd only been on the list and asked everyone here, the car wouldn't have been damaged or towed and probably would have been running the very next day. Again, a big thanks to everyone here and let's not forget the guys who keep this all running, without them none of this would be here, thanks guys.:)
