Tuesday, May 07, 2002 - 07:24 am I spent the last year or so helping my Dad spend his money on his (when we started) stock 87 GN. (This year will be my car's turn. No more being a grass catcher when the lawn mower goes by!) We plan to hit the track soon, and was wondering what should I expect with it properly tuned. Here is the list of improvements: *TA44 (boost at 17lbs) *Cottons Roller cam kit (210 if I remember right) *42.5lb/hr Injectors *Jay Carter 93 chip *Red Armstrong XP Fuel Pump *CAS V4 Intercooler *.030 over TRW forged hypereutectic pistons *K&N Air filter with smooth bore intake hose *Bypassed TB coolant lines *Accufab adjustable FP regulator (cuurently at 45lbs) *TH 3" downpipe and dual 2.5" exhausts and mufflers *160 thermostat *Oil breather block-off *HRPartsNStuff driver side motor mount (new stock mount on pass side) *Mild porting on heads (basically enough to smooth out the runners) *pinion snubber *Transmission rebuilt with Level 10 components, and set up for race (holes in plate drilled out, don't remember size off hand, will have to check notes). *New D5 2800 stall converter *I'm sure that there's more that I've forgotten... Any input appreciated

Tuesday, May 07, 2002 - 05:52 pm The combo is good easily to mid 11's with a race chip and 20-22 psi of boost. As it sits now with 17 psi and a street chip, you are looking at mid 12's with a good 60ft. Chris Bischof Southlake, TX http://perfauto.tripod.com
