Hello everyone. I finally finished the spring cleaning and had the car smog tested. The car (87 GN) has a 160 therm., 237 fpr., K+N cannister filter. The rest stock.
HC ppm Limit 120 Mine 114
CO% Limit 0.67 Mine 0.65
NO ppm Limit 1316 Mine 250
I do not have t-link or scanmaster. Will be having a friend do that for me next week. When I changed the plugs (r43ts) all were black and had a heavy fuel smell. Especially middle cyl. on pass. side. It was almost wet. Just wondering about some opinions on why the car runs so rich and what the CO % number's mean. I have not set the IAC or TPS!
Change the T-stat. That should help some. At least that is what I hear. Good Luck
