| | Thursday, July 04, 2002 - 01:12 am I am in the process of swapping a Hot air 3.8 into my Datsun 510. At the moment I am working on the x-member for the 3.8. I bought a crossmember that was said to be from a car running a carb'd buick v6 and part of a turbo v6 conversion. I measured the post that the engine mounts would bolt to and got a measurement of about 14.5 inches from mount bolt hole to bolt hole on the x-member. This seems a little short. Did all 3.8 rwd blocks use the same engine mounts? I guess I am just hoping this is the case. I wont see my engine for another week. Otherwise i'd just test fit it. By chance, anyone have measurements of the 3.8 block? Widths, heights, weight, etc...? Any help is appreciated. Marvin
