I have an '87 T-Type. Just put on my cold air system which is more than double the size of the stock hose + box. When I'm racing, at high RPMs, the engine knocks and runs very rough, jumping all over the place. Any suggestions? New fuel regulator? Adding more fuel? Anything to make it run strong the whole time. Thanks.

What is the boost at? Almost sounds like the boost is too high for the octane/mixture ... often times boost will be 1-2 psi more after freeing up the intake/exhaust.
