I am having head work and intake porting done over the winter...so these will obviously be off the block. I am also having the car stripped and painted over the winter (this should take 3 months according to the guy doing it). Will it be OK to leave the engine with these parts off?? What should I do to protect the engine ie) pistons, cyclinders,etc?? Any insight would be appreciated. Chris
Take the motor out with all the sanding dust is bound to creep into the motor.
