I have a 1993 buick Century. It's powered by the 3300 series v6. I am looking for a turbocharger for it, and was wondering if any of the old regal turbochargers would be easily portable. Someone told me that the engine was very similar to the 3800 V6, just with smaller pistons. Any information or tips would be appreciated. thanks!!

I'm not an expert and know nothing about
retrofitting a turbo to a NA application but I
suspect there's more to it than simply bolting in
a turbo. There's timing, fuel delivery, extra
exhaust & intake plumbing, oil for the turbo,
boost control, etc. Companies like Spearco or
Turbonetics might be able to help you.
(see vendor list on this site) Maybe someone makes
a supercharger for the 3300 V6.(?)
(e.g., Vortech, Paxton, etc.) Either way, expect
to fork over $2K - $3K. If you're looking
for more power, it may be cheaper/easier to
free up the intake and exhaust.
(or buy a GN/T-Type...) Good luck.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but your block and transmission won't take the punishment of a turbo. Save your money.
