i just rebuilt the moter in my 85 gn. Now i cant get it to start. Everything looks to be hooked up right. I have fuel. As far as spark though, i have strong spark on 1 coil, weak spark on the other, and none on the last coil. the coil pack tests good. The ignition module tests good as well, and ive even put another on just cause. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The pack will work until it gets hot right. Get a new sensor underneith. It gets hot and melts. the plastic ought to be blue and clear under the cover. I just spent 1100 dollars, to find a 100 problem 88 t-type
I had a similar prob. I thought it was the crank angle sensor. It turned out to be a faulty loose wire in the wiring connector that joins onto the end of the coil pack
