Just a quick question, i was wanting to make a adjustable wastegate out of my stock one. Just how do i take the dam thing off, do i have to take the whole thing off, or just the rod?
It would be easiest with the entire actuator off:
An external c-clip attaches the rod to the WG puck (get a pack of small alligator clips from Radio Shack in lieu of the c-clips), and two bolts hold the diaphragm/bracket to the turbo. As I recall the one by the drain tube can be a PITA, and you may have to take off the drain tube.
