I just bought an 87 T type. i pulled a code 13 on the way home, this was expected, the previous owner ran a few tanks of leaded just before i got the car. I looked at the O2, it is a 4 wire (heated). it is my understanding that the stock is only a 1 wire. where should i look for a replacement? most places ask for a year and model, but that will not apply here. will a standard 4 wire universal fit in the bung? are the connectors also fairly standard? if not how do i go about identifying the wires? thanks for the help.

Vince,
It is in "My Opinion" that a heated o2 sensor dont work for crap! I wasted over a $100.00 on mine. You can simply remove the harness from the back of your EGR solenoid and do away with the whole thing and go w/ a stock replacement. I have been told this by MANY buick heads over the years. although I have never had much luck at all with 02's period. all I know is mine didnt work and a regular one is much cheaper!
