Ron Gullett (Rgllvr) | Monday, May 12, 2003 - 09:14 pm I have recently been converted from import performance to Buick Performance, but I don't know much. I have an 86 Regal with the 3.8 N/A. I want to do as much as possible to it without breaking the bank, but I don't know where to start. I've thought about building it up to Turbo specs, but then I decided I may try Fuel Injection for something different on the gal. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that may get me off to a good start? I have a limited budget to begin with, but I just wnat something that I can work on over the next year. Any thoughts?????????? |
Jay Westfall (Jaywestfall) | Tuesday, May 13, 2003 - 08:34 am I am doing some mods to the NA 3.8 in my 84 Pontiac Bonnevillle. Some are for horsepower; others are to bullet proof the valvetrain and bearings. .030 boring 9.6 compression pistons 4.1 intake and quadrajet 3/8" pushrods high rev lifters oil boost plate TA performance cam bearings and Clevite rods and mains hopped up cam super stock rods We have emmissions in Texas, so everything will be compliant. Probably will get a KB Number 1 intake when I can afford it. |
