Shawn Walinsky (87gninpa) | Thursday, June 26, 2003 - 10:25 pm I have an opportunity to purchase a very cheap set of green stripe injectors. was wondering since my car is basically stock, would i ahve to change other things to have these function properly on the car? or would it be ok to put these on as direct replacements without changing anything else? just wondering because i am going to change my injectors anyway as they are all giving different pressure, even after cleaning. this is probalby sue to the fact that the car has 160,000 miles on it any help would be appreciated thank you in advacne |

Jay (Jayster) | Friday, June 27, 2003 - 09:10 am it'll help if yours are bad, but you wont get any more performance out of it. You said they were real cheap, so price would be the only reason to buy them really - otherwise stick with your stockers if they still work okay. If you plan on modifying your car and adding a bigger turbo, etc..those wont be the injectors you'll want to use. In that case - 36# injectors would be the minimum - but you will also need a custom chip once you go over stock injector sizes. |
