Hello all! Was wondering if anyone could give me a clue as to where some ticking noise is coming from on my 1987 Gn. I just purchased the vehicle about 1 month ago, and it is in good condition with about 52000 miles on it. I purchased a Kenney Bell chip for it, that was programmed for use with the stock injectors. Soon after I started hearing a ticking sound coming from around the water pump/timing chain/oil pump area. Its hard to pinpoint exactly. I work at a dealership and had some of our mechs listen to it. They said it was definitely not internal. They said it sounded like timing chain noise. I'm not so sure, sounds like maybe a water pump to me, but i'm not that mechanically inclined. Can anyone offer any suggestions on what maybe causing this ticking noise? I appreciate you guys taking the time! William
