I want to build a low-mid 10 second engine for my 87. I'm extremely discouraged right now with
the prices. I was told I had to buy a steel crank (quoted $2500) and a fuel management system was a must. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I called but the whole rebuild was
going to cost $12,000! Does that sound right? I've only called one person so far but am afraid to go any further. Some advice would be helpful.
Thanks, John
Indiana

Oops! Make that low 11's. Sorry. Just to clarify, I have injectors, turbo, pump, FM, THDP.... all I need is a fresh engine from oil
pan to throttle body.
