My 87 GN is a stolen recovery with a state issued vin #. How can I tell if my motor is from an 87 Grand National??
Look for the engine casting number on the driver's side of the block, near the rear of the block. It should be 25526109. BTW, there is also a machined pad near the casting number that has the orginal VIN #.
