| | Wednesday, October 22, 2003 - 03:39 pm I was the idiot that posted about the cam button. Thanks for all of your input, some of you started talking Japanese toward the end, but I got the picture. I actually managed to get the roller bearing into the cam slot without completely removing the front cover and all of the wires, pipes, and hoses. The new issue is timing. I have a Timing Doctor from ATR, complete with instructions. I stuffed a wad of paper into the no. 1 cylinder as I have read here and found TDC. (This puts the notch on the HB on top correct?) So I make a mark and advance 25-30 degrees. Loosen the cam sensor and turn it until the light comes on. Re-tighten the retaining bolt and start. No start. I did it again to be sure, no start. Any suggestions?
